Players will not have to wait long to try out the special mechanics and see the “new holiday decorations” on the map, as it will be available during the launch week of Season 1. Beyond that, players can find gear (and more hidden Zombies) within the snowmen populating the festive map. The presents can be obtained by freezing the Zombies using snowballs dotted around Die Maschine, a mechanic that was seen in the Zombies map Tag Der Toten. A “stocking power-up” is also mentioned, though it is unclear how it will be obtained. If players are rewarded with a Nice present, a random gun will be provided, with a Naughty present doing something bad - like spawning a zombie or dropping a grenade at the player’s feet.
With the coveted Mystery Box gone, the undead will now drop Naughty and Nice presents.
